My name is Neil Avery and I am a realtor who specializes in the buying and selling of waterfront homes and land in northeast Florida. I am a fourth generation Florida native. My college background (10 years) was in natural history, archaeology and architecture. I have, like so many, been compelled by the water my entire life. I grew up diving, hunting for fossils and shells and exploring the waters around Florida. When I chose a career in Real Estate, naturally I became interested in waterfront properties. I began to search for ways to know more about them and quickly found there was no instruction available and few sources. Having a science background I knew that only through single minded commitment over a course of years could I accumulate enough experience and knowledge to be worthy to teach and advise others. I began to study every aspect of the waterfront in north Florida; riverfront, oceanfront, intracoastals, salt marshes, and lakes.
